What we believe

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. That was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and therefore has power and authority and is the only infallible rule of faith and practice.

We believe in God the Father, Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, Eternal and Almighty.  God is the Triune God, existing as three persons, but one being.

We believe in God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, born from a virgin to fulfill prophecy. He lived an immaculate life, sinless, died on the cross to redeem us from our sins and He rose bodily, so that he was exalted and taken to the right hand of God and we believe that He is coming in glory.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit, whom God the Father sent to stay with us, empowering us to live a holy and triumphant life.

We believe that all men have sinned and therefore are guilty before God and are under condemnation.

We believe that through the death of his Son Jesus Christ, God in His great propitiatory love provided salvation for mankind, so that, by repentance and faith in Christ, their sins are forgiven, and they are free from the judgment of God and they are reborn to eternal life.

We believe the Universal Church consists of all true Christians; that the local church is made up of Christians who gather regularly in a particular place and that its mission, with Christ as our leader, is to go and teach to all the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that Christians form the church. The building is where the church meets. This means that the building is not the House of God, but the home of the church.
